Dr Asad Bhorat

Dr Asad Bhorat is an experienced Rural Generalist and General Practitioner with more than 30 years of medical experience across Australia and South Africa.

He provides comprehensive family healthcare with particular interests in cardiovascular health, chronic disease management, preventative medicine, men’s health, skin cancer medicine, and minor surgical procedures. Dr Bhorat combines extensive general practice experience with a background in emergency medicine, allowing him to manage both acute and complex medical conditions with confidence and care.

His procedural services include skin cancer checks, skin lesion and skin cancer excisions, joint injections, iron infusions, Implanon insertion and removal, wound management, and other minor surgical procedures.

Dr Bhorat is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based healthcare and building long-term relationships with patients and families. His focus is on helping patients achieve better health outcomes through prevention, early diagnosis, and practical management plans tailored to individual needs.
